It was wonderful working with Erica and Lauren! The girls made it so easy to plan the wedding celebration I had always dreamed of. As a bride, you’re spending so much time and money planning a wedding, you want to be able to enjoy the day when it finally comes.Thanks to these girls, both my mother and I were able relax and enjoy the day. Lauren and Erica are both very organized, we had meetings planned in advance with an agenda of what we would go over, so I never felt overwhelmed. I was kept on track for what I needed to get completed before the next meeting. They were always one step ahead of me with great ideas and advice. As the wedding day got closer there were multiple changes to the details and they were so flexible with changes to the wedding and made me feel relaxed through the entire process. They had ideas, that I would have never thought of on my own, that truly made the day just flow easier. Erica and Lauren, The party was unbelievable!! You don’t even know how many people have emailed, called, texted me and let me know what a great time they had. Many have gone so far to say it’s the BEST party they have ever attended! Everything went off without a hitch, and I owe all of that to you two. You girls are so talented and good at your job–such a joy to work with. Many of my guests also told me afterwards how great you were, Lauren….so nice, pretty, calm, etc. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone throwing a party. In fact, I am sure my friends will contact me in the future, and ask me for your info for their future events. You both planned so well for everything and worked very hard on this event. If there were more stars available, Erica deserves them!! Erica is not only an amazing event planner, she is an amazing person. She brings her positive attitude with her in everything that she does. Her energy helps put a bride at ease. She kept me on track with timelines and remembering what was really important. We looked for a “day of” wedding planner for our daughter’s wedding in September. What we got instead was Erica Hinshaw and much, much more. Erica went far beyond our expectations and worked with us for several weeks before the wedding. The days leading up to “The Day”, Erica negotiated strongly on our behalf with the caterer, the reception venue and the hotel for our out of town guests. The day and night before Erica worked tirelessly to make sure every small detail was attended to. She even recruited a friend of hers to help tie ribbons the morning of the wedding. I was on a very tight budget when planning my wedding and initially didn’t think I would have the budget to allow for a wedding coordinator, plus, I was an event coordinator at one point so I thought I’d have it covered. But as the big day approached, I knew I needed someone there to take care of everything day-of so that I could actually enjoy my wedding day. I met with several coordinators and not a single one compared to the dedication, creativity and professionalism that Erica brought to the table. She did everything she could to create a plan that would work for me and my budget and, let me tell you, it was the best money I have ever spent in my entire life! Worth every single penny! Wow! Erica went above and beyond in planning our beautiful wedding. I did not know if I was going to use a wedding planner, but now I can’t imagine not using Erica when planning a wedding! Erica thought of things that I never would have known about, plus she is extremely detail oriented which is a must in the wedding business. Erica also helped with all vendor coordination and communication. This was a huge help because I learned that vendors tend to forget all the details you decided on, but Erica is there to remind them and make sure it gets done. Erica also helped in event design as she has an amazing eye for this! She made sure set up was perfect and added details that I am so thankful for. Erica also helped me save money by knowing which vendors to use and how much we should be paying for different portions of the wedding. She was involved in every detail of the wedding from the major decisions to even helping me find/buy items to stuffing gift bags and more. I seriously could not have done this without her. I ended up moving in the middle of wedding planning and Erica made sure everything was as smooth as possible. I met Erica Hinshaw through a mutual friend a little before my engagement. She offered to help me get the ball rolling with my upcoming wedding, and I thought…”Why not?!” Most of my family lives in Chicago and I thought I would at least be gaining a second set of eyes and ears for the whole wedding planning year. What I did not realize as I made this casual decision was that I was making the most important decision of wedding planning!!! Erica turned out to be that second set of ears and eyes, but more than that she become an invaluable tool that helped me navigate through the stress and complications of the wedding world! She helped me form a vision, negotiate contracts, formulate a budget, and stick to a timeline. We went to some meetings together, some we would divide and conquer. Every vendor she put us in contact with was amazing! I would never have stumbled onto the vendors I chose without Erica! Erica become more important as the days drew closer to the wedding day. She had my 20+ person wedding party in check with emails and reminders, and helped run last min. errands and even saved the day on a few mishaps. She kept me calm in those final days, and I could tell how seriously she took our vision of our wedding, and how focused she was on pulling it all off for us. There were things that happened that day that I later found out about that would have been added stress for a bride, but because of Erica I never knew! She just handled it all!!! I got to enjoy my day, and the wedding was a beautiful and wonderful success!!
