A little about Miss Erica:

Erica founded Joie de Vivre Weddings in May 2010. After over a decade in the Wedding business, it was time to unveil her own creativity and talents. She was dying do what she does best…to help make others dreams come alive! The most exciting part of the Wedding Planning process for Erica, is to see the Bride and Groom smiling and thrilled at the end of their Wedding night.

Prior to Joie de Vivre Weddings, Erica was the Director of Catering at the award winning, 4 Diamond Resort, Estancia La Jolla, in San Diego California. While with Estancia La Jolla, Erica won numerous awards, including Manager of the year, Catering Team of the Year, as well as Voted Best Weddings by Channel 10.

She has been involved in a number of media appearances for her Events including Wealth TV, Better San Diego, as well as most recently Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

Erica is experienced in Weddings, Corporate Galas, Fundraisers, Birthday’s and Anniversary’s, Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s, Launches, Fashion Shows, and Conferences. Aligned with her superior partners and vendors in the industry keeps her at the cutting edge of the business. She is truly inspired by the close bonds she forms with her couples and witnessing the love between them.

Erica has always had an astounding attention for detail, an astute eye for style, and commitment to execution. Throughout her 10 years in Event planning, Erica has dedicated herself to making lasting memories for her clients.  She is truly inspired by the close bonds she forms with her couples and witnessing the love between them.


A little about Lauren:

The celebration of true love and rejoicing life’s most precious moments, is the true inspiration behind events that Lauren creates.

With a Bachelor of Fine Art in Contemporary Design from San Diego State University, her professionally developed eye for design and style enhances the presentation of all her events.

Prior to Joie de Vivre Weddings and Events, Lauren gained rich experience while working in a wide variety of event planning environments. These include: the prestigious Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, and the US Navy, where she planned regional special clearance military meetings. At San Diego State University, The Walt Disney Company and Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego, she was involved with designing special events. Her background in wedding planning started with distinguished companies such as Just Imagine Weddings and Bliss Events.

Lauren is certified as a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) by the Convention Industry Council and has her Professional Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning from San Diego State University. Through professional industry related memberships including associations such as NACE (National Association of Catering Executives), ISES (International Special Events Society), MPI (Meeting Professionals International), Lauren is directly connected to top vendors and partners in the business for specialized service.
